May 30 two monthsToday is Emma's two month birthday!!!!!!!!!!! We wanted to thank everyone for thier continued love and support, it means a lot to the three of us during this trying time!
Two months ago you took your first breath, you stretched out your arms, wiggled your toes and gave your first cry. it was 3 weeks early, but right on time. Two months ago, the world changed Two months ago you became Daddy's girl It was only two months ago, that I still carried you in my belly I held you safe and treasured every move and moment Two months ago you entered the world surround by love and warmth Your now somebody's grand-baby Two months ago I became your mom God opened the sky with a sun so bright and the doctors shouted it's a girl Only Two months ago Today your a big girl you do big things, with your big voice The world is yours Two months may seem a life time but it's only 8 small weeks Your hands have grown into my palm Your body has formed to mine I need you You need me Baby girl It's been two months There is so much for you to see a life time to explore this world You will grow so fast God has big plans for you baby Nothing feels better then baby tears dried up by my hugs or your smile as I kiss your feet I have given you a name so fitting My Emma, my complete, my whole my baby girl who's turned two months today I love you more then you'll ever know My little peanut May 26 Who says you needs breastmilk to grow?Our little peanut is growing very nicely. Her current weight is 11 pounds 6 oz!! she is 22 inches tall and her head has finally grown 2 cm!!! She had her shots yesterday, which she wasn't happy about. Mom has already given her baby tylenol as she woke up one crabby apple this morning. Over all peanut is doing very well. We go back in 2 months for more shots.
Grow peanut Grow!!! May 23 Soy and a PacifierWe've made the switch to a soy based formula...so far so good..except for the stink..Dad says it really really stinks..Mom says it smells better then the other one..who knows?! We've caved in and bought Emma a pacifier to try to hold her off a bit during feedings..so far so good. She's not addicted and it seems to be 'tricking her'..8 week appointment on Thursday..we'll update then. May 18 long lost photosphoto gallery has some old photos that got missed in the past..and some (finally) new ones!!
May 03 So maybe baby's do cry for a reasonAfter finding out the last few days that cloth diapers just aren't working how we had thought, we've been letting peanut have it out in her playpen...
I guess this morning she did have a reason for screaming her head off.....we're not bad parents..honest  |
